Description

The barn, located approximately 5 metres north west of number 2 Chapel Street, dates to the 17th century. It is a timber-framed structure with brick and weatherboarded walls, and an old tiled half-hipped roof. The barn has five framed bays, incorporating aisles and a mid-stray, with a gable facing south and a hipped roof facing north. Inside, the barn features queen post trusses with transverse and some longitudinal bracing.
