Description
The former granary at the southeast corner of the farmyard at Woolley House is a granary that has been converted into a store. It dates from the early to mid-19th century and features a timber frame with weatherboard cladding resting on staddle stones, topped with a Welsh slate roof. The building is one storey high with a loft and is supported by four sets of staddle stones. On the south side, there are steps leading up to a boarded door with a slatted opening above it. The north side has a two-light window, while slatted openings are present below the eaves on both the west and east sides. The roof is half-hipped. Inside, the walls are lined with boards, and the structure includes queen-post roof trusses, clasped purlins, old rafters, and a plank ridge-piece. This building is included for its group value.
