Description

This is a barn located 30 metres west of Peasemore House, dating from the early 17th century with later 17th century aisles. It is constructed with weatherboarding on a timber frame, featuring a thatched main roof and tiled aisles. The barn has ten bays running north to south, with aisles on the east and west sides and opposed entries in the third and sixth bays from the south. The west elevation has a hipped main roof at each end, with two hipped entries that have boarded doors projecting from the main roof. Inside, the barn features a timber frame with jowel posts, queen post trusses with high collars, and two clasped purlins.
