Description
No. 1 Church Lane is a meeting room that has been converted into a house, dating from the 18th century. The building features a hipped tiled roof with corbelled eaves and is constructed of red brick, which has a grey band at the first floor and a rendered architrave around the main west window. It has a rectangular plan and stands two storeys tall.
On the west elevation, there is a 20th-century lean-to and a door at ground level, along with a tripartite glazing bar sash window that has a central semi-circular head on the first floor. The south elevation showcases five semi-circular headed windows with rubbed arches and stone keys on the ground floor, while the first floor contains two glazing bar sashes and one 20th-century casement window.
