Description

The Rawlinson Tomb, located 9 metres south of the south porch, is a 19th-century stone table tomb. It features iron railings with a spearhead pattern and column standards on plinth bases topped with urn caps. The tomb has a fluted frieze below the top, which is supported by elongated fluted consoles rising from a moulded plinth. The side panels are inscribed with the names and dates of Christopher Rawlinson, who died in 1775, John Rawlinson, who died in 1798, and Christopher Rawlinson, who died in 1811.
