Description

The Whistler Tomb, located 5 metres south of the south door to the chancel, is an 18th-century stone table tomb. It has a rectangular plan with ogee and cavetto mouldings along the edge of the top. The base features urn corners on a moulded plinth. One of the rectangular side panels on the south side is inscribed to Richard Whistler, although the date is illegible.
