Description
These properties, numbered 15, 15A, 17, and 17A, are a group of houses dating from around 1840 on Coley Hill. They are built of brick with a stucco string course running beneath the first-floor windows, and have low-pitched slate roofs. The windows are timber sash windows with glazing bars. Number 15 has three windows on the first floor, and one window and two doors on the ground floor, originally containing two windows and one door. Number 17 has two first-floor windows and one window and a door on the ground floor. The ground floor windows are arched and contain radiating glazing bars. The doors are each topped with small, radiating fanlights of an ogee design. A Doric portico that previously existed at Number 17A has been removed.
