Description
Nos 48 to 52 on London Street are mid-18th century buildings that have been altered. They stand at 2½ storeys tall and are constructed of painted brick with a brick block eaves cornice. The mansard roof is covered with old tiles, although No 52 features a lower pitched roof. There are four gabled dormers and five windows on the first floor, which are likely early to mid-19th century replacements. Nos 48 and 50 have tripartite windows, while No 52 has a late glazed window, along with two other windows. The shop fronts are modern, with No 50 having an early 20th-century design. The rear of the buildings has been rebuilt, except for No 52.
