Description

No. 6A on Church Street is an early 18th-century building featuring two storeys and a basement. It is constructed from plum-colored brick with red dressings. The corners are accentuated by brick pilasters in the Doric style, and there is a heavy moulded cornice that projects over the pilasters, leading to a parapet topped with an old tile roof. The building has sash windows with cross glazing, with two on the first floor and one on the ground floor. The entrance is framed by a stone doorcase that includes half-engaged Roman Doric columns supporting an entablature and cornice.
