Description

The Bury is a pair of cottages that are now in a ruinous state. They date from the 17th and 18th centuries and feature a combination of timber framing with brick infilling, as well as stone construction. The old tiled roof is half hipped at the ends and is complemented by two brick chimneys and rooflights. The building stands two storeys high with an attic. The western timber-framed section consists of three bays, which originally had three 2-light casement windows and two doors. The stone eastern section has two smaller bays with similar openings and two doorways.
