Description
Horseshoe Farmhouse is a cottage dated 1749. It is constructed of coursed rubble stone and has a thatched roof. The original plan comprised two bays, one storey with an attic, on the left-hand side, and a two-light casement window. Above the door is a two-light dormer window. The right-hand bay features a single two-light casement window. A modern conservatory porch has been added across the left bay, and a flat-roofed, stone-clad single-storey addition extends to the south. Gable brick stacks are present. A datestone on the east elevation is inscribed with the date 1749.
