Description

The Bakehouse is a cottage dating from the 18th century, located on the east side of High Street in Stoke Goldington. It has two bays and stands two storeys high, constructed of coursed rubblestone. The roof is thatched, and it features three-light casement windows. A central door is topped with a cut bracket hood, and oak lintels are used above the openings. There is a stack on the south side of the building. At the rear, there is a late 18th-century two-bay brick range, which is also thatched.
