Description
27 Lower Weald is a late 17th century cottage that features a part timber frame construction with a thatched roof and a stone front, which has been whitewashed. At the west end, there is a chimney with a date stone reading 'ROBERT' and the year 1696, although this is now obscured. The cottage has one window on each floor, both of which are casements. To the west, there is a lower two-storey timber framed extension with brick infill, also featuring one window on each floor, with the original window remaining on the first floor. The entrance has a plain door.
