Description

Park Farmhouse is a house dating back to the 17th century, with alterations made in the 18th century. It is constructed of stone with brick additions, and has a thatched roof with a bargeboarded gable and a wooden finial. The house is two storeys high. Windows have painted stone lintels with keyblocks. The north elevation features a large four-light leaded casement window, a sash window to the right, two two-light casements to the first floor rising into the thatch (the right-hand one with old leaded glazing), and a stone and brick section with two-light casements on each floor, with leaded glazing to the first floor. The east gable has a three-light casement window to the ground floor and a two-light casement to the first floor. A brick and tile wing, dating to the 19th century, is located on the left, and behind this is an older stone and thatched wing with a bargeboarded gable and a modern half-glazed tiled lean-to. An attached stone range of garages and stables with a tiled roof is also present.
