Description

Seven Gables is a house built in the mid-19th century in a Tudor style. It is constructed of brick, featuring timber framing on the overhanging first floor, with brick infill in various patterns. The roof is tiled and there are two brick chimneys, one of which has decorative patterns of projecting headers, along with shaped bargeboards and finials on the gables. The house has two storeys.

The west elevation facing the road has a slightly projecting gable on the right-hand side, which includes a three-light mullioned and transomed window on the first floor. To the left on the ground floor, there is a door set in a gothic arched opening, accompanied by a three-light mullion and transom window with a segmental arched band to the right. The first floor also features three and one-light windows.

On the south elevation, which faces the garden, there is a projecting central section with a gable on the right and a smaller hipped gable on the left. Each gable contains a three-light mullion and transomed window on the first floor, and there is a central gothic arched door flanked by three-light arched-headed windows on either side. Additionally, there is a canted bay window on the left. All the windows are adorned with diamond leaded glazing.
