Description
Wavendon Manor is a house that dates back to the 16th century and has been altered over time. It features a pebbledash exterior on a timber-framed structure, with old tile roofs and brick stacks, two of which have diagonal shafts. The building is two storeys high with an attic.
The north elevation includes flanking gabled wings that have over-sailing first floors, positioned on either side of a slightly recessed center. This center has a glazed verandah with a tiled roof on the ground floor and a five-light casement window on the first floor. The left-hand gable features a fixed sash window on the ground floor, a sliding sash window in an architrave frame on the first floor, and a two-light casement in the attic. The right-hand gable has a casement window with margin lights on the ground floor, a sash window on the first floor, and a two-light casement in the attic. There is also a one-storey wing on the right-hand side.
On the east elevation, there is a modern bay window and a half-glazed door on the ground floor, along with two three-light casements on the first floor. The south elevation displays three gables, 19th-century windows, a conservatory, and a large wing on the left-hand side.
