Description

Nos 44 and 46 on High Street are 18th-century buildings that have been altered. They are constructed of stone and feature a modern tiled roof with stone coped gable ends and two partly dismantled brick stacks. The buildings are two storeys high.

No 44, located to the south, has a modern door and a passage entry on the right. On the left, there is a sash window with a painted lintel and keyblock. The first floor has two sash windows; the left one has a similar lintel, while the right one is a recent addition. There is also a modern window on the flank wall.

No 46, situated to the north, features a modern shopfront on the right and a modern window in an old opening with a lintel and keyblock on the left. The first floor has two similar sash windows, although the glazing bars have been removed.
