Description
The White House is a 19th-century building located on the west side of Olney High Street. It features painted stucco brick and a slate roof with coped gable ends and decorated kneelers, along with ornamental ridges and flanking yellow brick chimney stacks. The building has a moulded eaves cornice supported by moulded brackets and stands three storeys tall.
On the second floor, there is a band with an incised pattern and a moulded band above the second floor windows. The central entrance consists of a six-panel door topped by a semi-circular light within an arched opening that has moulded imposts and a keyblock. To the right, there is a two-storey canted bay window with a castellated parapet. On the left side, there is one sash window each on the ground and first floors, both featuring patterned keyblocks, along with a passage door on the far left that has a similar keyblock. Above the main door, there is a raised shield, and the second floor has three sash windows with plain keyblocks.
