Description

The water pump attached to the former brewhouse at Horringford House dates from 1783, as indicated by a terracotta plaque. It features a cast iron pump housed in a rectangular wooden structure approximately 6 feet high. The pump has a spout and a handle that extend from it, and it is connected to a rectangular brick and stone basin. The date plaque is an unusual feature of this pump.
