Description

The Anchor Inn is an early 19th-century building located on the west side of High Street in West Cowes. It stands three storeys tall and is constructed of painted brick. The roof is concealed by a parapet. The facade features two sash windows and a central blank space, with the glazing bars intact except for the right-hand window on the ground floor. There are cornices with console brackets above the windows, and the entrance is marked by a central round-headed door case.
