Description

Myrtle Cottage is a pair of similar cottages dating from around 1850. They are constructed of stone rubble with quoins, and have gable-ended slate roofs with overhanging eaves. Flint chimneys are paired. Each cottage has two casement windows on the first floor, with raised eaves forming gables over these windows. Glazed verandahs are present, the original being on “The Cottage” and featuring a central bargeboarded gable. The cottages are described as picturesque, and form a group with Fern Bank and The Cottage.
