Description
Carmel is an early to mid 19th century alteration of an 18th century farmhouse. The building is two storeys high and constructed from stone rubble, topped with a gable end slate roof. It features two-light wood casements and pointed arches on the ground floor. There is a gabled porch and a two-storey projection on the east side. Additionally, there is a lower, single-storey extension on the south gable end, which includes a small oriel bay window. Carmel was formerly associated with East Dene.
