Description

This barn, located to the southeast of Nunwell Farmhouse, dates from the mid-18th century. It is constructed in English garden wall bond on a deep plinth made of Isle of Wight stone rubble. The barn features a half-hipped roof, which is currently covered in corrugated iron sheeting. Notably, it has an unusual cart entrance and is supported by angled queen struts with tie beams and stop-chamfered staggered purlins.
