Description

BRADING SZ58NE WEST LANE (OFF) 1352-0/1/116 Nunwell Farmhouse II

Farmhouse now subdivided. Late C18, extended C19 and refenestrated C20. Red brick in header bond with some vitrified headers on cement plinth. Tiled roof with brick chimneystacks. 2 storeys and 4 windows. 4 C20 triple metal framed casement windows. Ground floor windows have cambered casements. Off central doorcase with flat wooden weatherhood with brackets and 6-panelled.door. To the right is a C20 French window in a cambered surround deepened from a window. Catslide roof to rear. Stone plinth to sides and rear. Early C19. 6-panelled door to rear elevation. Linked to the farmhouse by a slate pentice is a 1 storey outbuilding of red brick with tiled roof, 3-light C19 casement and plank door, probably originally a brewhouse. The farmhouse contains a thick chamfered spine beam with lambs tongue stops.
