Description
Nos 3 and 4 on Terrace Road are early to mid 19th century semi-detached houses. They are three stories tall, built of coursed rubble with ashlar quoins, and feature Neo-Gothic and Tudor decorative details. The gable end roofs are covered with slate and face the street. Each house has one window on the upper floors, with No 3 having a recessed sash window on the second floor and No 4 featuring a casement window, both with glazing bars and broad rendered surrounds topped with drip moulds. The first floor has oriel-type bay windows with two lights, while the ground floor has full-length casement windows with glazing bars, similar surrounds, and drip moulds. The entrance bays are set back to the sides and have one window each, topped with crenellated parapets. The recessed doors consist of three full-length fielded panels. Nos 1 to 6 on Terrace Road form a group.
