Description

CHURCH LANE 1. 5270 Granary at Chawton Farm SZ 49 SE 6/141 II G.V. 2. Granary C18. Timber-framed clad partly in weatherboarding partly replaced in corrugated iron sheeting. Gabled roof also covered in corrugated iron sheeting. Large granary probably 5 x 4 bays on mushroom shaped staddle stones. A larger than usual example of an Isle of Wight granary.
