Description
The monument to Thomas Gilbert is a chest tomb located approximately 2 meters east of the Manor Chapel at the Church of St Andrew. The earliest legible date on the tomb is 1697, indicating it is likely an early 17th century monument. It is constructed from stone and features a moulded cornice and base. The sides of the tomb have two fielded panels and a central marble inscription plaque. Each end also has one fielded panel, with an inscription on the west side.
