Description

The bridge in the grounds of Swainston Manor is an ornamental structure from the early 19th century. It is constructed of tooled ashlar stone. Each side features two large piers with rusticated bases. The bridge has a segmental arch that includes a keystone, and above this arch is stone balustrading. The straight walls of the bridge have moulded stone coping that extends outward at the sides.
