Description
The pigsties located to the northeast of Ford Mill House are early 19th-century structures that are currently derelict. They are constructed from stone rubble, including some ironstone, and feature a slate roof. The building consists of five sties with outside runs, one of which has a curved wall on the right side. Brick surrounds and wooden lintels are present, although the original gates have been replaced with modern aluminium ones. Inside, the wooden pen divisions remain intact. The rear wall of the pigsties is attached to Ford Mill House.
