Description

This is a headstone located approximately 7 meters east of another item on High Street in Brading. It dates from around 1707 and features a curved top adorned with heavenly trumpets. The central part of the headstone includes a casket with a cherub above it, flanked by a cadaver in a coffin and a skull. There are tendrils in the corners of the design, but the inscription is illegible.
