Description
There are four table tombs located approximately 3 metres from the gabled annexe on the south side of St Peter's Church in Brighton. All the tombs are made of stone and share a similar design, featuring a vase-shaped body with rectangular panels on all four sides. The tombs commemorate the following individuals: the nearest to the church is for Henry Smithers and others, who died in 1769; next is Bartholomew Smithers, who died in 1791; then David and Ann Dring, who died in 1802; and finally, Lady Emily Caroline Nassau Hervey, who died in 1814.
