Description

Numbers 8-12 Pelham Square are a group of terraced houses dating from around 1845. They are constructed of stucco, with tile roofs to numbers 8 and 10-12, and Welsh slate to number 9. The houses are two storeys high, with a basement, and feature a one-window arrangement.

The front has a flat-arched entrance with an overlight, framed by pilasters and an entablature. The original design panelled doors are present at numbers 8-11. Number 12 has its entrance on the side, with pilasters encased in replacement fluting. A full-height segmental bay features flat-arched windows; the mullions at the angles have stepped capitals, all with original sash windows. A storey band, cornice, and blocking course are also present, along with stacks to the party walls.

The interior was not inspected. Cast-iron railings with spearhead finials are located at the steps and area.
