Description
No. 96 Trafalgar Street is a mid-19th century terraced house with shops. The building is constructed of brick, which is now painted, and features a roof covered with late 20th-century tiles. It stands three storeys high and has three windows facing Trafalgar Street and three facing Pelham Street, with the central window in each case being blank. The shop fronts were updated in the 20th century. The upper floors have a curved and slightly recessed corner, and the windows are mostly cambered-arched, except for the canted bays in the outer windows on Trafalgar Street. Notably, one sash window of original design remains on the second floor in Trafalgar Street. The building has a hipped roof. The interior has not been inspected. No. 96 is part of a group with the houses in Pelham Square and is included for its group value.
