Description

Nos. 11 and 12 Trafalgar Street are mid-19th century terraced houses with shops on the ground floor. They are finished in stucco and topped with roofs made of Welsh slate.

The exterior features three storeys with dormers in an enlarged attic. On Trafalgar Street, there is one window, while the return in Pelham Square has three windows. There is also a two-storey range in Pelham Square, which may be of more recent construction, that continues the architectural style of the square. This range has banded rustication on the ground floor, a storey band, and flat-arched windows, with the first-floor windows featuring original design architraves and sashes, a cornice, and two dormers.

The three-storey range has a flat-arched entrance, now designated as No. 25 Pelham Square, which is set back under a flat-arched porch supported by pilasters and a simplified entablature. The ground floor displays banded rustication, while the first and second floors have flat-arched windows with original design architraves and sashes, a cornice, and a blocking course, along with dormers in a mansard roof.

On Trafalgar Street, the ground floor has 20th-century shop fronts, and there are two two-storey, segmental, tripartite bay windows on the first and second floors, with the bays slightly recessed. The left bay has sashes of original design, and there is a storey band, cornice, and blocking course that continues with Pelham Square, along with dormers in the mansard roof.

The interior has not been inspected. These buildings are included for their group value with other houses in Pelham Square.
