Description
Chapel Square No. 4 at the Royal Military Academy in Sandhurst is a building used as cadets' quarters, constructed around 1810. It is made of yellow stock brick and features rear lateral stacks with a hipped slate roof. The building has a double depth plan and is designed in the Late Georgian style.
The exterior is two storeys high with a symmetrical front that includes a cornice and parapet. The central doorway has rubbed brick heads and an overlight, leading to a six-panel door, flanked by 6/6-pane sash windows. There are three-window returns on either side. The interior has not been inspected.
This building was likely constructed as part of the Old College by John Sanders and is situated on the side of Chapel Square, facing the Chapel.
