Description
The metal railing at Chingford Mill Pumping Station was constructed between 1890 and 1895, designed by William Booth Bryant, the project engineer for the East London Water Works Company. It is made of metal and features a concrete plinth. The railing has a shallow curving plan divided into twelve sections, with every alternate upright supported by curved brackets. This railing is part of a group with the Chingford Mill Pumping Station located on Lower Hall Lane.
