Description

The culvert at the south-west end of the ornamental pond, located at the corner of Butter Hill and London Road in Wallington, is believed to have medieval origins. It features a rough, wide segmental arch that is faced with flint rubble. The rear wall of the culvert is constructed from brick and stone rubble, while the floor is made of brick.
