Description

The Anchorage is an 18th-century building featuring painted brick construction. It stands two storeys high with a basement and attic. To the left, there is a large two-storey corniced canted bay, while to the right, there is another window above an entrance door that has a trellis and canopied porch. The building has square-headed sash windows that retain their glazing bars, and there are two large modern dormers on the roof. The front boundary walls are made of stucco and topped with pineapple caps on the entrance piers.
