Description

Sion Cottage is an early 18th century house with two storeys and a basement, featuring three windows across its front. The central entrance door is framed by a trellis porch, which is accessed by a flight of steps. The house has a tiled roof that is set behind a parapet and is finished with rough-cast walls. The square-headed sash windows still have their original glazing bars. On the Riverside side, there is a one-bay return that includes a wooden trellis balcony decorated with a Greek key pattern, positioned at the raised ground floor level. A plaque at the first floor level reads "Sion Row 1721."
