Description

The Statue of Father Thames is located in Terrace Gardens, Richmond. Created by John Bacon RA in 1775, this statue is made of loade stone and depicts a bearded, nude male figure reclining on a rock. The figure is shown pouring water from an urn under his right arm. There is another, more complete copy of this statue in front of the north facade of Ebm House.
