Description

Pembroke Lodge is a building from the mid-18th century, with later alterations from the 18th and early 19th centuries. It is constructed of painted brick and has two storeys with a slate roof. The entrance features a Tuscan porch with a pediment, and there are sash windows throughout. Historically, it was referred to on old maps as "Mole Catcher's" or "Hill Lodge". The Countess of Pembroke resided here for many years. Inside, some rooms showcase Adamesque plasterwork and fine marble fireplaces.
