Description
The Orangery at the Royal Botanic Gardens in Kew was built in 1761 and designed by Sir William Chambers. This Grade I listed building is constructed of brick, which is still covered with Chambers' original stucco. It features seven bays with rusticated walls and arched openings. The first and last bays have pediments, and the structure consists of a single tall storey. A modillion eaves cornice runs along the top of the building.
