Description
Aroid House No 1 is a 19th-century building designed by John Nash. Originally, it was one of two pavilions that flanked the Garden Facade of Buckingham Palace. The structure features glass walls supported by square Tuscan piers on the sides and six Ionic columns in antis at the front. The pediments and most of the roof are also glazed, while the north wall is blind. It was re-erected in its current location in 1836.
