Description
Thatched House Lodge is an early 18th-century building, possibly older, with later alterations, including lime-washed brickwork. The lodge has two storeys and attics, featuring two projecting side wings. It is constructed from Cumberland stone and has a slate roof with three dormers. The building has five sash windows and a three-window addition on the right. Originally, it was known as Burkitts Lodge.
