Description

The Moorings is an early 18th-century house located on the east side of High Street, Hampton. It is a two-storey and attic building that was altered in the 19th century. The roof is slate-covered and features three gabled dormers with decorative bargeboards. The house is brick-built with a stuccoed facade. A central entrance door is framed by Ionic columns and a detailed entablature. On the first floor, a splayed bay is located to the right of centre and is supported by thin, plain columns.
