Description

No. 78 on High Street is a late 17th-century building that stands three stories tall. Originally, it featured three Dutch gables, but the central section has since been replaced by a brick projecting bay. This bay is three windows wide and includes a cornice, a balustraded parapet, and a slated roof topped with a cupola. The original parts of the building on either side of the bay have been pebble-dashed and each has one window. To the left of the bay, there is an entrance porch that features a columned and pedimented doorcase.
