Description
No. 110 High Street is a substantial house, likely built in the mid-18th century. It features brown brick with red dressings, and has a pitched roof covered with concrete tiles behind a parapet. The building is two storeys high and three windows wide, with an additional window extension to the left and a two-storey canted bay on the right side. The central entrance has an architrave with a cornice and hood, leading to a panelled door that is partly glazed. The ground floor includes square gauged headed windows in the canted bay to the left of the entrance. There is a brick band between the storeys. Inside, the house retains 18th-century panelling in the hall, staircase, and most rooms, along with some fireplaces that are likely original. The staircase features a close string design with turned balusters.
