Description
Strand House is an early 18th-century building situated on The Embankment, adjacent to and set back from No. 2. It is two storeys tall with an attic, and five windows wide. The building is constructed of red brick with a tiled roof, topped by a modillion eaves cornice. Dormer windows, each with triple casements, light the attic space. Flush-framed sash windows with retained glazing bars are present on the main storeys. A central doorway features a rusticated, pedimented surround, mirroring the design of the adjacent No. 2.
