No. 2 The Embankment is an early 18th-century, three-storey house that is three windows wide. It is constructed of red brick and features a cornice and a parapet. The ground floor windows have been blocked up. The entrance door is located to the right and has a rusticated surround with a pediment. The original interior remains intact.
