Description
The United Reformed Church was built in 1856 and features a pedimented front with a tetrastyle design supported by a giant order of Roman Doric pilasters. The building has short wings that are set back on each side. It is constructed of pale brick with stucco mouldings and stucco quoins on the wings. The pilasters frame two storeys of round-arched openings. The ground floor includes three doorways with modern doors, and the tympanums contain blue mosaic work that is not of particular interest. Above these doorways are round-arched windows adorned with stuccoed pilasters and archivolts. Each side of the church has a three-bay return elevation featuring arched windows set in arched recesses, with pilasters positioned between them. The structure is topped with a parapet.
